- From the desk of the Chairman, IEI Manipur State Centre

It is a great honour and privilege for me to assume the office of the Chairman of Institution of Engineers, Manipur Centre for the year 2023-24 and 2024-25.In my capacity as Chairman of this esteemed institution, I look forward to dedicate myself towards development of our state by generating awareness of various fields of engineering and honing the young and dynamic minds with desirable human values dovetailed with the state of art technology in the ever challenging and refined realm of Engineering science.

The institution has been creating awareness about the latest and future technological advancements in various disciplines of engineering. We plan to conduct several awareness programmes particularly against the themes of Environment, Climate change, Solid waste management ‚e-Waste management apart from the regular activities of the State centre. Our sincere endeavour shall be to launch suitably trained human material into higher orbits of an even-keeled society.

It is hopeful that all the corporate members, institutional members and particularly students will benefit through our programmes. To achieve the above stated goals we humbly claim that all necessary ingredients and matrix are in place in the esteemed Institution.

I also invite suggestions from you towards further enhancement of the engineering services we are providing to the society of Manipur.
